UC3842BD1013TR is a high-performance current mode PWM controller. It provides the necessary features to implement offline or DC to DC fixed frequency current mode control schemes with a minimal external parts count. Internally implemented circuits include a trimmed oscillator for precise duty cycle control under-voltage lockout featuring a start-up current less than 0.5mA, a precision reference trimmed for accuracy at the error amp input, logic to ensure latched operation, a PWM comparator that also provides current limit control, and a totem pole output stage designed to source or sink high peak current. The output stage, suitable for driving N-channel MOSFETs, is low in the offstate. This device has UVLO thresholds of 16V (on) and 10V (off), ideal suited for off-line applications. It can operate to duty cycles approaching 100%.

- High current totem pole output, output voltage is 5V typ at (Tj = 25°C, Io = 1mA)
- Output noise voltage is 50µV typical at (10Hz ≤ f ≤ 10KHz Tj = 25°C)
- Input bias current is -2µA maximum at (VFB = 5V)
- Unity gain bandwidth is 1MHz typical at (TJ = 25°C)
- Load regulation is 25mV typical at (1 ≤ Io ≤ 20mA)
- Junction operating temperature range from -40°C to 150°C, SO8 package
