TWR-PXS3020-KIT

The TWR-PXS3020-KIT is a tower system kit for power architecture PXS30 functional safety microcontroller. The PXS30 devices are 32bit power architecture embedded microcontrollers designed for safety critical applications. All devices in this family are built around a dual core safety architecture. The devices offer more processing power and larger memory sizes to handle a variety of industrial designs. The dual core can be operated in lockstep mode (redundant processing and calculations) or decoupled parallel mode (independent core operations). The PXS30 family platform has a single level of memory hierarchy supporting on chip SRAM and flash memories. The 1MB flash version features 160KB of on chip graphics SRAM to buffer cost effective colour TFT displays driven via the on chip display control unit (DCU).

• Two statically configurable modes of operation, lockstep operation and dual parallel mode
• Fault collection unit, which monitors and manages fault events
• Error correction coding on RAM and flash memory allows detection/correction of memory errors
• Up to 2MB flash memory with ECC
• UART, SPI, CAN and I2C communications interfaces
• Multi port DDR DRAM controller
• Up to four 12bit analogue to digital converters (ADCs)
• Three PWM units with four 16bit channels per module
