BTS500101TADATMA2 is a smart high-side power switch. It is a 1.0mohm, single-channel, power switch providing protective functions and diagnosis. It contains Infineon® ReverSave™ functionality. The power transistor is built by a N-channel power MOSFET with charge pump. It is specially designed to drive high current loads up to 80A, for applications like switched battery couplings, power distribution switches, heaters, glow plugs, in the harsh automotive environment. It is suitable for resistive, inductive and capacitive loads and it replaces electromechanical relays, fuses and discrete circuits. It is mostly suitable for applications with high current loads, such as heating system, main switch for power distribution, start-stop power supply switch and PWM applications with low frequencies.
