MCP3423EV

The MCP3423EV is an evaluation board designed for a quick evaluation of the MCP3423 device. The MCP3423 is a two channel 18bit delta sigma ADC device with various configuration options. The board has analog input connection pads and various test pads. The user can evaluate the MCP3423 by using the PICkit Serial or by connecting to their application boards. The PICkit serial GUI provides the output codes.

• This board works with PICKit Serial
• This board allows the user to measure the unknown input voltage with a minimum amount of preparation
• Write and read the MCP3423 configuration register bits using the PICKit serial analyser
• Read the ADC conversion results using the PICkit serial analyser
• Many test pads including the SCL and SDA allow to monitor the I2C trafics for the data collections
• The user can connect the SDA and SCL pins to their own PCB board and evaluate the device performance
• JP2 and 3 jumpers make easy for the address selection pin function test
