ACSL-7210-00RE is a digital optocoupler. It uses CMOS IC technology and patented packaging technologies to achieve a high isolation voltage of 3750VRMS in a less than 2mm low-profile narrow-body SOIC-8 package. The device optimizes bidirectional industrial communication networks, such as serial peripheral interface (SPI) applications. The main building blocks of the ACSL-7210 for each channel are a CMOS LED driver IC that is controlled by a CMOS logic input signal, a high-speed LED, and a CMOS detector IC. Typical applications include digital field bus isolation: PROFIBUS, CC-Link, DeviceNet, SDS, multiplexed data transmission, general instrument and data acquisition, computer peripheral interface, and microprocessor system interface. Safety and regulatory approvals include UL 1577 – 3750Vrms for 1 minute, IEC/EN/DIN EN 60747-5-5 for reinforced insulation -567 VPEAK.
