1420A-PV-1000-Y is a 1420A series DC power surge protective device (SPD) designed to protect power systems from damage due to lightning, transients and power surges, up to rated limits. Typical applications are DC power systems, photovoltaic systems, EV charging stations. It is DIN-rail mountable SPD designed to protect DC power systems.
- High-energy MOV technology with advanced thermal disconnector (TD+)
- Status indicator, replaceable modular design
- For common mode and differential mode protection
- Remote signalling capability
- Complies with UL 1449/CSA C22.2 Type 4, Type 2 location standard
- 1000VDC network voltage (Un) DC, <lt/> 50μA leakage current at Uc
- 1120VDC maximum operating voltage (Uc) DC
- Thermoplastic UL 94V0 enclosure material
- Operating temperature rating range from -40°C to +85°C, environmental rating is IP20
- By screw terminal: single-strand #2AWG or 35mm²; multi-strand #4AWG or 25mm² connection
