The DS1251YP-70IND+ is a 4096K NV SRAM with phantom clock in 34 pin PWRCP package. This fully static non-volatile RAM supports bytewide interface & it is organized as 512Kwords by 8bits with built-in real time clock. The DS1251YP has self contained lithium energy source and control circuitry which constantly monitors VCC for an out of tolerance condition. When such condition occurs, the lithium energy source is automatically switched on and write protection is unconditionally enabled to prevent garbled data in both memory and real time clock. The phantom clock provides timekeeping information including hundredths of seconds, seconds, minutes, hours, days, dates, months and years. The date at the end of month is automatically adjusted for months with fewer than 31 days including automatic leap year compensation up to 2100. The phantom clock operates in either 24hr or 12hr format with an AM/PM indicator. It has SMD package for direct connection to PowerCap containing battery & crystal.
