AD7667 is a 16bit, charge redistribution SAR analogue-to-digital converter that operates from a single 5V power supply. The part contains a high speed 16bit sampling ADC, an internal conversion clock, internal reference, error correction circuits, and both serial and parallel system inter- face ports. It features a very high sampling rate mode (Warp), a fast mode (Normal) for asynchronous applications, and a reduced power mode (Impulse) for low power applications where power is scaled with the throughput. The AD7667 is hardware factory-calibrated and comprehensively tested to ensure ac parameters such as signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and total harmonic distortion (THD) in addition to the more traditional dc parameters of gain, offset, and linearity. Typical applications include data acquisition, medical instruments, digital signal processing, battery-powered systems, process control.
- ±3ppm/°C internal reference temperature drift and guaranteed max drift ±15ppm/°C
- Throughput: 1MSPS (Warp mode), 800KSPS (Normal mode), 666KSPS (Impulse mode)
- Integral linearity error: ±2LSB (±0.0038% of full scale) and +1.5LSB differential linearity error
- 16bit resolution with no missing codes and 2.5V internal reference
- S/(N+D): 88dB min at 20KHz and THD: -96dB max at 20KHz
- Analog input voltage range: 0V to 2.5V
- No pipeline delay, parallel and serial 5V/3V interface and SPI®/QSPITM/MICROWIRETM/DSP compatible
- Power dissipation: 87mW typ at 666kSPS, 130µW at 1KSPS without REF and 133mW typ at 1MSPS with REF
- 48 lead LQFP package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
