Product Overview
ORA W series are universal, maintenance-free analogue manual refractometer. The manual effort to convert the value is avoided by the use of several selectable scales and thereby eliminates user error. The scales have been specially developed, calculated precisely and checked. Another key feature is the very thin, clear lines. The optical system and prism cover are made from special materials, which enable to measure with low tolerances. Particularly suitable for measuring the sugar content in fruit and used to determine what alcohol content is to be expected from the fruit. Users can also determine the degree of ripeness of fruit sugar e.g. grapes. Application includes agriculture (wine and fruit cultivation), wine production, must and alcohol production.
