The 1583E is a 1000ft 4-pair unshielded Cat5 enhanced UTP Cable with 24AWG solid bare copper conductor, polyethylene (PE) insulation and grey flame-retardant PVC jacket. This cable supports current and future category 5 enhanced applications, such as 10 Base-T, 100 Base-T, 1000 Base-T (Gigabit Ethernet), FDDI and ATM.
