Product Overview
LTM4630-1 is a dual 18A or single 36A output step-down µModule® (micromodule) regulator. Included in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductors, and all supporting components. External compensation allows for fast transient response to minimize output capacitance when powering FPGAs, ASICs, and processors. It is used in applications such as FPGA, ASIC, µProcessor core voltage regulation, information, communication systems etc.
- Total DC accuracy is ±0.8%
- ±3% transient output error with minimum output capacitance
- Input voltage range from 4.5V to 15V
- Output voltage range from 0.6V to 1.8V
- Differential remote sense amplifier
- Current mode control/fast transient response
- Input supply current is 6A typ at (VIN = 5V, VOUT = 1.5V, IOUT = 18A)
- Output ripple voltage is 15mVP-P typ at (TA = 25°C, VIN = 12V)
- Nominal frequency is 500KHz typ at (fSET = 1.2V, TA = 25°C)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, package style is 144-lead BGA
