Product Overview
LTC®4440-5 is a high-frequency high side N-channel MOSFET gate driver that is designed to operate in applications with VIN voltages up to 60V. This can also withstand and continue to function during 80V VIN transients. The powerful driver capability reduces switching losses in MOSFETs with high gate capacitances. It pull-up has a peak output current of 1.1A and its pull-down has an output impedance of 1.85ohm. This features supply independent TTL/CMOS compatible input thresholds with 350mV of hysteresis. The input logic signal is internally level-shifted to the bootstrapped supply, which may function at up to 95V above ground. Application includes telecommunications power systems, distributed power architectures, server power supplies, high-density power modules, and general-purpose low-side drivers.

- Input thresholds are independent of supply, undervoltage lockout
- Normal operation range from 200 to 325µA (TA = 25°C, VCC = VBOOST = 6V)
- Typical undervoltage lockout threshold is 3.20V (VCC rising, TA = 25°C)
- Typical normal operation is 310µA (INP = 6V, TA = 25°C)
- Typical high input threshold is 1.6V (INP Ramping High, TA = 25°C)
- Typical low output voltage is 185mV (TA = 25°C)
- Typical output rise time is 10ns (10% – 90%, CL = 1nF, TA = 25°C)
- 6-lead plastic SOT-23 package
- Temperature rating range from -40°C to 85°C
